Eco-friendly appliances are a bit costly but use the least amount of energy and will always help to reduce your electricity bill.

Above the induction coil of the stove, a cast iron or stainless steel pot can be placed which will excite the molecules in the pot and hence, heat is produced. For energy efficient and fast cooking, induction cooking is more useful.

The solar ovens are very useful as they entirely rely on the sun’s solar energy and do not require any electricity for working. These ovens can produce more than 400 degrees of temperature. Your refrigerator accounts more than 15% of your monthly electricity bill. If you can avoid ice makers, automatic defrosters and heaters, the use of electricity can be reduced even more.

You should look for a dish washer with booster heater with on/off system for electric dryer feature. This will help to save a lot of electricity.

    2. The oil should be spread evenly across the cutting board using a cloth towel application should be in the direction of the wood grain. When the initial capacity of the wood is attained, the excess should be wiped off using a clean cloth and should be kept aside for four to six hours.

    3. Another coat of oil should be applied to the wood, again till the board reaches full capacity and should be kept aside for several more hours. The more oil you apply to the board, the better the wood will be to prevent food particles, oils or other liquids from entering the board to create unsanitary surface.

    4. The board should be treated four to five times before you start to use it. The board should be maintained by oiling it frequently.
