    Lighting options for your study

A well decorated house is incomplete without proper lighting arrangements. Just as you have different decorations for different rooms, so are the illuminations.

The lighting arrangement of a study should be a decent one. Neither excessive bright illuminations nor soft lightings would do. The general lighting options, covering a wide area, are also not suitable for your study. A study needs a ray of light focused on that specific area. It helps you to concentrate while reading or studying. Thus, task oriented lighting is the perfect for your study. These lights have focused rays which cover a small specific sphere to perform a particular task. Earlier there was the use of sconces. They are still prevalent in traditional and modern designs. But these days, the table lamps are a good example of task oriented lightning for the study. You can go for the halogen lamps.

However, while choosing the desk lamp, just make sure that it does not project shadow –distractions.

Love to adorn your home? Crystal chandeliers are perfect for enhancing the aesthetics of your room. Besides the bright illumination, it also adds up to a lot of glamour quotient.

Crystal chandeliers are the most popular and look far better than their glassy counterparts. They are made up of hard wearing crystal stones and look equally charming even after years. The archaic models were grand yet difficult to handle. But the sleek modern ones — a blend of class and usability – brighten up even the murkiest of rooms. However, consider the furnishing of your room while installing a chandelier. The big ones look majestic in mansions but out of place in your modern living room.

Contrary to traditional belief, crystal chandeliers are not-so-expensive these days and the middle class homes, too, can afford to possess one. As you can get them in a variety of sizes and themes, it is easy to find the design suited particularly for your place.
